Hegel H200 (2026) – La nouvelle génération de l’amplificateur intégré connecté Hegel

Le Hegel H200 représente une nouvelle génération d’amplificateurs intégrés chez Hegel. Puissant, musical et remarquablement complet, il réunit dans un seul appareil une amplification de 150 watts par canal, un DAC haute performance, un lecteur réseau, une entrée phono MM et une sortie casque.

Hegel le présente comme « The Connected », par opposition au nouveau A200, qui adopte une approche entièrement analogique. Le H200 s’adresse donc à ceux qui désirent construire un système haute fidélité de très haut niveau autour d’un seul appareil, tout en conservant la simplicité et l’élégance qui caractérisent la marque norvégienne.

Et malgré toutes ses fonctions, la priorité demeure clairement la même : la musique.

150 watts par canal… mais surtout beaucoup de contrôle

Au cœur du H200 se trouve une véritable amplification analogique classe A/B de 150 watts par canal sous 8 ohms.

Comme souvent chez Hegel, la puissance annoncée ne raconte cependant qu’une partie de l’histoire.

Le H200 est stable avec des enceintes présentant une charge aussi basse que 2 ohms et affiche un impressionnant facteur d’amortissement supérieur à 4000. Cette capacité de contrôle permet à l’amplificateur de maîtriser avec beaucoup d’autorité les haut-parleurs, particulièrement dans les basses fréquences.

Le grave est rapide, profond et articulé. Les voix conservent leur naturel et leur présence, tandis que la scène sonore demeure stable et bien définie, même lorsque la musique devient complexe.

C’est cette sensation de puissance parfaitement maîtrisée qui fait depuis longtemps partie de la personnalité sonore des amplificateurs Hegel.

SoundEngine2 : la technologie au cœur du H200

Le H200 utilise la technologie propriétaire SoundEngine2 de Hegel.

Cette technologie travaille continuellement afin de détecter et réduire la distorsion produite par l’étage d’amplification. L’objectif n’est pas de créer une signature sonore particulière, mais plutôt de conserver le signal musical aussi propre et naturel que possible.

Le résultat est une écoute à la fois précise, dynamique et fluide, avec énormément de détails mais sans tomber dans une présentation artificiellement analytique.

C’est exactement ce que nous apprécions chez Hegel : beaucoup de contrôle, mais toujours au service de la musique.

Un véritable système haute fidélité dans un seul appareil

Le H200 est beaucoup plus qu’un amplificateur intégré.

Hegel a réuni dans le même châssis l’amplification, le DAC et la plateforme de streaming afin que chaque section puisse fonctionner comme un ensemble cohérent.

Il peut ainsi devenir le véritable cœur d’un système moderne : il suffit essentiellement d’ajouter une paire d’enceintes de qualité pour obtenir une chaîne haute fidélité complète.

Un DAC conçu comme partie intégrante de l’amplificateur

Plutôt que de simplement ajouter une section numérique à un amplificateur analogique, Hegel conçoit le DAC, le lecteur réseau et l’amplification comme les différentes parties d’un même appareil.

Une attention particulière a notamment été portée à l’alimentation, à la mise à la terre, à la gestion de l’horloge et à l’isolation des circuits numériques afin que leur bruit n'interfère pas avec les sections analogiques plus sensibles.

Le H200 accepte les sources numériques par coaxial, optique, USB-B, USB-A et réseau.

Il possède également la fonction DAC Loop, particulièrement intéressante pour ceux qui voudraient éventuellement ajouter un DAC externe tout en conservant le H200 comme centre de contrôle et amplificateur du système.

Une véritable entrée phono MM

Voilà une addition que nous apprécions particulièrement.

Le H200 possède maintenant une entrée phono Moving Magnet (MM) de qualité, et il ne s’agit pas simplement d’une petite section phono ajoutée pour compléter la liste des caractéristiques.

Hegel indique que cette section est dérivée de la partie MM de son préamplificateur phono séparé V10. Elle utilise notamment des transistors FET appairés et a été développée pour offrir un faible bruit et une excellente musicalité.

Pour plusieurs propriétaires de tables tournantes équipées d’une bonne cellule MM, cela permet d’éviter complètement l’achat d’un préamplificateur phono externe.

Aussi à l’aise avec l’analogique

Malgré toute sa technologie numérique, le H200 demeure avant tout un excellent amplificateur analogique.

Il offre une entrée symétrique XLR, deux entrées analogiques RCA, une sortie ligne fixe ainsi qu’une sortie variable permettant notamment d’ajouter un amplificateur de puissance ou un caisson de graves actif.

Une sortie casque de qualité est également intégrée.

Cette polyvalence permet au H200 d’évoluer avec votre système pendant de nombreuses années.

Une intégration intelligente au quotidien

Hegel a également pensé à l’utilisation du H200 dans une installation moderne.

L’amplificateur peut détecter l’arrivée d'un signal numérique, sortir automatiquement de veille et sélectionner l’entrée appropriée. Il peut apprendre les commandes de volume de certaines télécommandes de téléviseur et il est possible d’attribuer un niveau fixe à une entrée pour faciliter son intégration à un système cinéma maison.

Pour les installations domotiques plus élaborées, le H200 est également compatible avec Control4, Crestron Home et Crestron SIMPL.

Ce qu’en disent les premières critiques

Les premières impressions publiées sur le nouveau H200 sont particulièrement positives.

HiFi.nl souligne notamment son excellent contrôle, sa richesse de détails et ses capacités dynamiques, tout en appréciant le fait que Hegel ait clairement placé la qualité sonore devant les fonctions purement esthétiques. Le banc d’essai souligne également la qualité de son étage phono, ses nombreuses possibilités de streaming et son caractère sonore naturel et détaillé.

Cette reconnaissance arrive rapidement : le H200 porte déjà la distinction EISA Amplifier 2026-2027.

Hegel H200 – The New Generation of Hegel’s Connected Integrated Amplifier

The Hegel H200 represents a new generation of integrated amplifiers from Hegel. Powerful, musical, and remarkably versatile, it combines 150 watts per channel, a high-performance DAC, network streaming, an MM phono stage, and a headphone output in one elegant component.

Hegel calls the H200 “The Connected,” in contrast to the new A200, which follows a purely analog approach. 150 Watts per Channel… but Above All, Exceptional Control

At the heart of the H200 is a true analog Class A/B amplifier delivering 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms.

As is often the case with Hegel, however, the power rating tells only part of the story.

The H200 is stable with speaker loads down to 2 ohms and offers an impressive damping factor of more than 4000. This exceptional level of control allows the amplifier to maintain a firm grip on the loudspeakers, particularly in the lower frequencies.

Bass is deep, fast, and articulate. Voices retain their natural presence and character, while the soundstage remains stable and precisely defined even when the music becomes complex.

A DAC Designed as an Integral Part of the Amplifier

Rather than simply adding a digital section to an analog amplifier, Hegel approaches the DAC, network player, and amplification stages as different parts of one complete component.

Particular attention has been given to power supplies, grounding, clock management, and isolation of the digital circuitry to prevent unwanted noise from interfering with the sensitive analog stages.

The H200 accommodates digital sources through coaxial, optical, USB-B, USB-A, and Ethernet connections.

It also features Hegel’s DAC Loop, an interesting feature for listeners who may eventually wish to add an external DAC while keeping the H200 at the center of their system.

A Genuine MM Phono Stage

This is an addition we particularly appreciate.

The H200 now includes a dedicated Moving Magnet (MM) phono input, and it is much more than a basic phono stage added simply to complete the feature list.

Hegel developed this section using technology derived from the MM stage of its separate V10 phono preamplifier, including carefully matched FET transistors designed to provide low noise and excellent musical performance.

For many turntable owners using a quality MM cartridge, this means that a separate external phono preamplifier may simply not be necessary.

Equally Comfortable with Analog Sources

Despite its extensive digital capabilities, the H200 remains first and foremost an accomplished analog integrated amplifier.

It provides a balanced XLR input, two analog RCA inputs, a fixed-level line output, and a variable output that can be used with an additional power amplifier or active subwoofer.

A dedicated headphone output is also included.

This versatility allows the H200 to evolve along with your audio system for many years.

Smart Integration for Everyday Use

Hegel has also considered how the H200 will be used in today's connected home.

The amplifier can detect an incoming digital signal, automatically wake from standby, and select the appropriate input.
